The Birth of a wild idea..

My music life birthed out of Honolulu, and currently, I’m domaining in the Bay Area, CA, USA. I’m a true blooded hard dance music uncompromised devotee. Encompassing my passion first and foremost as a producer, a close second (sometimes fights 51/49) as an engineer, and of course it goes without saying, as a listener.

I tinkered together a few ideas to be able to create a platform to further push the sound of my music as ”The Buckness”.

During this escapade of seeking further avenues to push my own music, the wild idea of creating a USA based Hard Dance label became more of the end-up. However, my preconceived conception of the potentially overbearing responsibility launching a label again was marginally overlooked. However, taking on the new expenditure as the grasp of the potential responsibility arose, the willingness to make the leap took it’s calling.

After my experience with co-owing Divergent Records back in 2018, the experience that came with that has matured into a more adept knowledge base with know-how and expectations of what it may take to be able to be a key player in rocketing into the highly saturated realm of hard dance music, it’s going to take work, commitment to others, and a driving attitude, but it’s something I have continued to employ in my current life in devotion to my art as a producer, so I feel I can wear the boots well.

I really hope this fruits something of not only my labor, but the other artists that want to truly have a platform where they can let out their wild side, no hold barred. In this habitat of the macrocosm of music, and even microcosm of hard dance music. I understand, as a producer myself, the relentless joy it brings when we “land” something in the studio. Being able to share that with the world, well, I hope for this to be a formidable bridge of the gap between the studio, and the various platforms of listening that exist today.
